9月24日（木）、ESS部が（株）JTB主催Be live Hawaii online meetingsに参加しました。8月から取り組んでいたこの活動も今日で最終日です。これはcovid19の感染拡大により海外研修が実施困難な現在、オンラインを使用してハワイの方々とSDGｓの取り組みを考えることを目的とした活動です。 県内の高校から５校と、株式会社JTB・株式会社瀬戸内海放送・ハワイ州政府観光局・ハワイアン航空・Blue Planet Foundationの皆様と１時間の意見交換をおこなってきました。
今回は、「SDGｓに取り組んでどんな社会にしたいか」「ハワイに行けたらどんなSDGsの学習がしたいか」をテーマに発表し合いました。
３回に渡っての会議では、自分たちの取り組みを伝えるだけでなく、他校の高校生の取り組み、ハワイ州の取り組みを知ることができ、非常に勉強になりました。
私達ESS部は“ethical consumption”に取り組んでいきたいと考えています。ハワイのドギーバッグ、ハワイのフードバンク等今回の会議を通して、実際現地で学びたいと感じました。
We ESS members have researched “ethical consumption” since last April. We want everyone to be conscious of being eco-friendly and to help tackle the problems related to consumer activity.
Now COVID-19 has influenced our economies around the world. We try to do ethical consumption and try to be green consumers for a better economic recovery.
In addition, some people in the world are in trouble because they do not have enough food, while others are picky and waste food. We want to eliminate this food inequality.
We are going to continue activities to investigate the current state of the world and inform of it.
Let’s do whatever we can do for our Mother Earth with plastic-free, eco-friendly and no more food waste, as an earthian.
